Nahirapan s'ya Katulad Mo...

Ikuwento ko lang yung nangyari sa kaibigan ko, noong nagsisimula pa lang s'ya sa networking business n'ya, ang naituro sa kanya na mga paraan para mag-karon ng downline ay yung pag-a-approach sa mga strangers.

- Mamimigay ka pa ng flyers.
- Kumausap ng mga taong hindi ko kakilala.
- At mamilit ng mga kamag-anak at kaibigan.

Parang s'yang Liyon na nanghahabol ng mga usa para may makain! Nahirapan talaga s'ya nung una sa negosya n'ya. Ganun ka rin ba? nahirapan ka rin ba sa mga traditional prospecting strategies na yan?

Pero imagine... paano kaya kung mga prospects mismo ang kumo-contact at nag-i-inquire sa'yo para sabihin na willing silang sumali, yung tipong parang isa kang bulaklak na nilalapitan ng mga bubuyog?

Madali mong magagawa itong strategy na ito kung matututunan mo kung paano mo gagamitin ng tama ang internet sa business mo. 

At eto ang kaylangan mong marealize, yung mga pinaka successful na internet marketers, hindi sila nagpupunta sa kalsada o kahit sa internet para manghabol ng mga prospects.

Ginagamit nila ang internet para i-brand ang sarili nila sa mga mata ng kanilang prospects, para sa kanila sasali at wala ng iba ang mga interested na prospects na ito.

Talk! Talk! Talk! and Talk!

We all love to talk, talk and talk more about our business opportunity and products, but the problem for new distributors is that they don´t have anyone to talk to!
Once the new distributor talks to all of his family and friends, then the problem of who to talk to becomes serious. Distributor say:

"When do I find good prospects?"

"Where can I find people who will listen to me?"

"How do I get strangers interested?"

So they go out and try to talk to strangers, and because they are untrained, because they say the wrong words ... they get rejected. Then what?

After experiencing rejection after rejection, the distributor feels bad. Your distributor has common sense. Your distributor figures out that the only way to stop the rejection and pain is to stop talking to people. And then the distributor becomes inactive.

The upline then thinks, "How do I motivate my downline? How do I get them to duplicate?" 

The upline is asking the wrong question. The distributor is not unmotivated. The distributor stopped saying words that didn´t work, but has no new words to substitute. So this isn´t a motivation problem, it is a training problem. The upline has to teach new words that work to the still motivated distributor.

Where To Find Great, Captive, Motivated Prospects?


Just stop to put fuel in your car. And don't pay at the pump! Inside the convenience store is a clerk. What do we know about this clerk? 

1. The clerk is motivated by money. Hey, the clerk is working, right? 

2. The clerk is responsible. Somebody trusts the clerk to handle money. 

3. The clerk is underpaid. I have never seen an overpaid clerk

4. The clerk probably hates the job. It's boring, especially on the night shift. 

Simply say to the clerk something like this (remembering the rule of disagreement from CD albums): 

"Hey, this looks like a pretty nice job. You get to work inside and you don't have to worry about nasty weather." 

The clerk usually will disagree and now your conversation begins. Easy, isn't it? 

SMD are fun to use and AAM. They get people to come to us.


This is painful ...


The caller was complaining: 

"I can't sell a thing. My prospects refuse to buy. This business doesn't work." 

I wish the caller could have heard himself talk. He had the "helpless victim" whine perfected. 

Well, marketing isn't difficult. It's just common sense. So I told the caller: 

"It's your business. You have three choices: 

1. Sell something different. 

2. Find different prospects to sell to. 

3. Learn how to sell better. 

Take your pick ... or quit." 

I guess quitting could really be the fourth choice.  

Anyway, the caller wanted me to change the world for him. He wanted everyone he talked with to change how they reacted to his untrained presentation. 

The caller didn't want to (#1) sell something different, and he didn't want to (#2) find new prospects. That left him with option #3: Learn how to sell better. And, the caller definitely didn't want to learn how to sell better as he insisted that he keep his current presentation. 

I didn't argue with the caller. How he sees his business is his business. He is in charge of the choices in his life. 

While this was painful for the caller, it was quite enjoyable for me. I like it when callers learn to take personal responsibility for their lives. 

And did the caller decide to "learn how to sell better" and change his future? 

No. 

He decided to complain to someone else. I guess you can only present solutions - not force people to take advantage of the solutions.
